What is DropQ?+
DropQ is a global Q&A social platform where you receive questions — anonymous or public — on your profile, answer them, and share your answers as beautifully designed images for Instagram, TikTok, and Stories.
Is DropQ free?+
Yes. DropQ is completely free to use. We may run non-intrusive advertisements to support the service.
How do I get my own profile?+
Sign up with Google or email, claim a unique @username during onboarding, and your profile will be live at dropq.me/yourusername.
Are questions really anonymous?+
Yes. When a question is submitted anonymously, the sender’s identity is not displayed to you or anyone else. We store only a SHA-256 hash of the sender’s IP for the sole purpose of preventing spam and abuse.
Can I ask a question without signing up?+
Yes — anonymous questions do not require an account. To ask publicly (with your @username attached) you need to sign in.
How does the rate limit work?+
Each IP (for anonymous users) or account (for signed-in users) can send a maximum of 20 questions every 3 minutes. This prevents spam while still letting fans engage freely.
How do I share my profile?+
On your own profile, click “Share invite” to copy your link (dropq.me/yourusername) or download a beautiful 4:3 or 9:16 image card you can post on Instagram or TikTok.
How does “Share as Photo” work?+
Open any answered question and click “Share as Photo”. Choose 4:3 (feed) or 9:16 (story), and download a high-resolution PNG of the Q&A. Ads are never included in the exported image.
Can I delete a question or comment?+
Yes. You can delete pending questions from your inbox, your own answered Q&As, and any comments on your answers. Comment authors can also delete their own comments.
How do upvotes and downvotes work?+
Logged-in users can upvote or downvote any answer. The net score (upvotes − downvotes) is used to rank the “Top” feed and the Discover leaderboard.
How do I report abusive content?+
Email us at dropqme@gmail.com with the URL and a short description. We review reports as quickly as possible and may remove content or suspend accounts that violate our Terms.
How do I delete my account?+
Email dropqme@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we will permanently delete your data within 30 days.
Is DropQ available on mobile?+
DropQ is mobile-first and works perfectly in any modern mobile browser. Native iOS and Android apps are on our roadmap.
Does DropQ use AI?+
No. DropQ does not generate any content with AI. Everything you see is written by real users.
